What is Strategic Human Resource Planning?

Strategic HR planning refers to the process for determining a group's immediate and potential staffing requirements in order to accomplish the objectives. It connects human resources to a group's overall business strategy. (Ulrich, 2015)

 

Steps to a Successful Strategic Human Resource Planning

1. Assess Current HR Capacity

Assessing the working population will be the first stage inside the development of the organization. Create a list of abilities for every one of the existing workforces.

 2. Forecast HR Requirements

  10. HR Department is mandatory department for any Organization. HR department is having direct link with each and every department. Therefore, there should be proper strategy not just for People recruitment but also Training and development, evaluations, promotions, salary increment and discipline, etc.
